3 year old Elkhound bitch

A good-natured, purebred Elkhound bitch is looking for a home. Currently in Ireland but can be homed in UK with full rescue back-up, home visits, etc.
Described by foster family as a very easy-going dog, house-trained, good with other dogs and people, vaccinated and believed speyed (will need to be if not). Only up for rehoming because her owner has become ill.
A donation to rescue will be required.
Please pm for more details. A home which has had this breed or similar would be preferred, not because she has problems, but because Elkhounds are a fairly specialist breed.
Breed rescue UK have been contaced, but have said they cannot help.
