I wish I was in a position to help. I don't think I am experienced enough as I've never worked with a dog with a 'history', especially one who's been abused as much as Duke has.

I also have to think about Cheetah, and my nieces and nephews, and even the neighbours and general public around here who love dogs and might want to give fusses - a Presa 'turning' would not be a nice situation to be in, and I have absolutely no experience in such circumstances... would I even be able to pick up on the signs?

A sad story indeed, and the breeder and previous owner/s should be ashamed of themselves - and prosecuted.

So sad The local chav has just bred their presa with a am bull, I hope they don't sell to all the other chavs in the area as I would still like to walk my 2 without any trouble, her bitch nearly ran under the bus yesterday

Oh I don't think I can read this story now I've seen 'abuse' mentioned. I do hope this dog finds a good home.

Just curious - anyone know where Duke is? If he was near-by I'd love to just go visit him.

From those pictures it looks like the Sefton coast to me - somewhere between Crosby and Southport maybe?

Poor fella though - he has been through so much no dog deserves that

Unfortunately too far for me to make a quick trip up there, would have been interested in just meeting him, tho.
