Kids U13 law?

Is there a newish law regarding the under 13s on forums? (I.e. they can't join) sorry for being a bit thick as usual, just wondering as Helena isn't 13 yet.

I'm not sure on the status within the UK. The location of the server would determine juristriction. Therefore servers located in the US (where the majority of servers are) would be governed by State and Federal law.

Thanks Graeme. This forum is the only one Ive ever allowed them access to, so is the server for this one in the UK?

Azz would need to confirm this but my educated guess is that the physical location of DW is Dallas, Texas.

Ok, gonna PM eRaze as he should defo know the answer to this one. may sound a bit stupid to some people, but I'd rather not be breaking any laws by allowing my children on here.

ok, got message back from eRaze and Under 13s can participate so long as parental consent is given (written). I'd forgot about that bit as I did that when I signed them up over a year ago. Thanks to all who have replied
