It was raining the other day......

and Levi, a clipped off American Cocker was standing on the patio, and he had a dry patch underneath him. I wonder how long he would have stood there if I hadn't called him in. Silly boy.

Why do they do that? My mate's GSD's do the same - even in the middle of winter. Norm won't step out of the door if there's the slightest hint of rain

Saffy loves rain and will sit in it all day if I let her, whereas Max wont get out of his bed on a rainy day!

Most of mine hate the rain but I did have an old bitch who would lay in the sun for so long she became comatose and had to be carried into the shade to cool down.

Also an elderly old gent who once ate so much ice that he gave himself hypothermia and us an anxious 4 hours whilst we brought him back to a more normal temperature.

You would think that age would bring more sense but they, and if I am honest I, give a lie to that idea.

ar loves the rain, especially a long walk in the park in the rain. They have a drainage problem in the park and there is a big swamp, so she heads for that.

If its windy Im lucky to get her out of the house.

Roxy, Max sounds like me. Penny doesn't mind the rain, her opinion is "We're still going for a walk, it doesn't matter if it rains." Lucy and Tamino though both hate the rain. I almost have to kick their little bottoms out into the garden otherwise they would just spend their time hopping on crossed legs by the door. The looks they give me after I open the door for them to go out, it's almost as if they think I made it rain.

Mine hate the rain. I have to put their leads on and literally drag them out the house and stand there while they go. I'd rather stand out in the rain than have great big puddles in the kitchen.

jazz won't go in the rain if she can help it, she will stick her head out of the dog flap and look outside before she goes out properly
