advice on flowers

well spring is here and i need tomake a start on my garden . but what i want is yo get some flowers that will grow back every year , but im no good at this sort of thing so any suggestions would be great

fushias they come back every year and they are lovely.
geranium they come back every year as well
wall flowers
and whats good about these plants you can take cuttings from them you take a cutting put it in some water and within a few days you have roots shooting from the cutting when these appear you can put them into apot to get established and then plant them out

thanks jen ive wrote them down i tried fushias last year but some how i killed them !!!! i just didn want to go to a garden center making myself look a plonker not knowing what anything was called

ive killed mine many a times i will think of a few more for you
theres clematis thats a lovely one you can have that one climbing up a plant trellis flowers beautiful

and there chamomile now that smells lovely
theres wild english daisy they grow to about 3ft and they come back every year

You want perennials, plant them now and they will come up year after year...

A good colourful flower which self seeds during summer and subsequent years are Wallflowers.Dead cheap also when grown from seed!

If you havent young children-Foxgloves look beautiful in a shady spot,but-they are poisonous if eaten in great numbers (the heart drug digitallis is extracted from them).

Or try growing Sunflowers! I grow the 'Teddy bear' variety which look like yellow pom poms or try the 'Russian Giant' type-which lives upto its name...
