Rare and Exciting new breed

Just saw an add in the paper for this new breed,

Welsh Mountain Dogs


wondered has anyone heard of them,
add reads
rare and exciting new breed Welsh Mountain dogs make the ideal companion or assistance dog, they have hybrid vigour, great intelligence and fantastic temperaments. They are a large breed of very striking appearance. For more details..................bla bla,

sounds great,

have not done a search on net yet, have to pop out but will do one as soon as I get back,
anyone seen one or heard of them? even better if someone has a photo

They're a relatively new breed (about 12 yrs), combining Bernese Mountain Dog, Newfoundland, and border collie.

The person who created these was based near Abergaveny, East Wales. I hadn't heard any more of them for some time and the original website is no longer up, so thought they had fizzled out.

Good grief. People really will buy anything won't they! Rare breed my a**e. They're cross breeds! People would be better off going to a rescue home and getting a dog that NEEDS a home rather than one which is bred purely for money.

It would be nice if they actually looked like something different but they just look like big collies! I heard about them several years ago.
