Im very frustrated with humane societies myself. I tried to adopted a dog when I was looking for one. But I was denied because my husband is in the Navy!! It rediculous! We had a dog at the time. It just doesnt make sense to me.

I do wonder whether the real reason for the numbers of animals in rescue centres is because of rehoming policies. Whilst I appreciate they have to take care of the animals they rescue they seem to decline some very suitable homes.
