So sorry to hear that. I agree with Mini, it sounds like it could be vestibular disease (but again it could be lots of things).

Big hugs and lots of positive vibes to Patch and Gremlin. Will be thinking about you guys.

My Kali has been getting it for over a year now, and his demeanour is generally brighter (can't put my finger on it, he just seems to be a bit more "with it"). It costs a small fortune from a vet (mine charges £46/packet, about a month's worth), but you can get it online for a lot less (even if it is shipped from Tahiti!) -

It might be worth asking the vet if vivitonin would do any good at this stage!

There was a thread not so long ago about vivitonin and Patch posted..I suspect Gremlin may already be on it. Our old, old BC had a major stroke and was put on it too...aparently it is given to OAPs in Japan and I heard at one point it was being tested for human use over here...

Yep! Vivitonin is punted as some sort of guard against strokes, but it's not a guarantee. My Kali gets it because he's getting on a bit now (13) - it does seem to have "pepped him up again", to the point where he has rediscovered the "joys" of leg-humping . Whilst I'm not a lover of leg-humping, I do think that the longer he stays "willing", the better, because if he can do that, perhaps he can still do something more acceptable!
