A match made in heaven indeed

Tango sounds to have fitted in brilliantly. I have always found that bitches seem to prefer male owners and dogs prefer the female of the house.

I wonder if Tango has no stamina yet as she probably won't have had masses of exercise when she was a gamekeeper's dog (except during the season) and so you will probably have to build her up gradually.

I am so pleased for the whole family, she is lovely

That is exactly what I was wondering. I am guessing she has spent a lot of time amusing herself in a kennel (thus her scratching)and so isn't used to walking. Everything is really new to her too so it will be tiring for her I suppose. She is also a bit skinny...so perhaps needs her energy levels building up too. Aw bless her...

I braved taking her and Cosmo out on my own earlier, just for a short lead walk, we met a neighbour, had a chat/tickle...carried on. It was fine! Cosmo and Tango gave each other a few kisses along the way!!!!
