Cluckingham Palace

Well I gave in (Karen wanted some hens) so after much swearing and head scratching - the hen house is finally constructed and stained.

Just got to get a base sorted and the extra bits and bobs before the birds can come. They better lay !

I love it! I would love hens, but would need a coop as our garden isn't enclosed.

You designed it yourself??

Hi you should look on the Amesh site, some of their chicken houses look like palaces, especially from people who seem so plain,we were looking for a dog run, when we came across this site, and couldnt believe our eyes.crystalgirl

Phil I'm impressed, I do a bit of woodwork myself and it's not easy to knock up something like that. Those chucks will indeed be living in a palace and I bet those eggs taste so much better
