Dog day afternoon

iv been working with a friends mal,for a while now and im starting to see a trend with his training i think is interesting and logilcal.i go to see him often ,at different times of the day,i seem to get better results in the afternoon,11am/4pm.he seems more calm and atentive on me .mornigs are no good,to much energy as well as after 4.anyone else notice this.it makes sence to me just never really thought of it before!!.

Never noticed any difference in attitude with regards to the clock.

to me, it seem to be about the mental state of the dog ,more calm.dogs in general seem to lie down and rest in the aftenoon, if able.hence.dog day after noon!?just a thought.
