He is happy and loved, and you are doing absolutely everything to help him wherever possible. A dog could not wish for more.

I cannot cross many things because of stiffness but have sent a request winging up to Orion and his little dog. Here's hoping that things turn out better than imagined.

This says it all for me...... (thanks Claire)

I'm sending a lorry load of positive vibes for Mirk and hope with all my heart and soul that he has a few more months yet living a well-deserved life of comfort and luxury with you.....

Fingers and paws crossed. I've loved hearing about Mirk. He deserves more time with you after all he's been through.

At the moment we are just waiting to see how his prostrate (is it prostate or prostrate??) responded to the chemical castration. If it responds then the growth is not cancer and then we can look at treatment. If it doesn't then it is cancer and we cant look at other treatment.

Mirk is now fast asleep on a double thickness bed, sleeping of the drugs and beef dinner. If he where awake and could read his thread, I am sure he would lower his head politely, wag his tail gently and think nice Mirk thoughts of you all.
He is such a gentle loving appreciative soul.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your well wishes for Mirk.
I have been incredibly moved and inspired by just how Mirks story has affected people. And this thread tells the same tale.

Dog owners are as a rule very loving generous people and that is born out by your well wishes and personal support.

Mirk is an inspiring boy, and is being supported by an inspiring vet and some inspiring friends. Indeed it is a tale of true humanity. Thank you. Love from Mirk and all of us here. xxx

I am too new to know of Mirk's story but am picking up bits and pieces from this thread.

You write very eloquently Lostadogs.

I really hope you get the results you wish for - good luck Mirk, hang on in there and enjoy every moment

My best get-well thoughts to Mirk.

If love could cure, he would surely be immortal.
