Sea Eagle in the Lammermuirs

There was apparently a Sea Eagle on the reservoir in front of our house last week I didn't see it! How annoying!

Taking from birdinglothian.co.uk

"In the Lammermuirs a probable (White-tailed) Sea Eagle in the Whiteadder Res. area today, present for the past week or so and is presumably from the East of Scotland re-introduction scheme and is likely to be the same bird
reported as a Golden Eagle at Fasney Bridge"

I think it's one of the 3 from Loch Leven in Perth & Kinross - they're getting about !

I must keep my eyes open, as I would LOVE to see it. Apparently our farm manager has seen it and is convinced it is a Golden Eagle and not a Sea Eagle, but I would be happy to see either

No sign yet, although have seen plenty of buzzards. I will have to ask if anyone else has seen it in the past few days or it may have moved on.

Hi Kirsty, when were were on holiday up on the West Coast last year we saw a Sea Eagle. It was along from where you have stayed, (letterfearn),we had climbed up the hill at the end of the road and I was taking a picture of Toby balancing on log when all of a sudden it just appeared and luckily as we were in mid picture taking we caught him on camera. I will have a look for the photo and post it here for you

I would absolutely love to see it Janet, thanks I have seen Golden Eagles along there, but never a Sea Eagle. How exciting.
