18week old Deaf Staffie

Just had a call from a guy to say he has an 18week old white staffie girl that he needs to rehome as he has had a nervous breakdown. Unfortunately the wee soul is deaf. If you can help with this wee lass gimme a shout.

Awww .Shame. Although people have great success with deaf dogs dont they? They learn a type of sign language.

Good luck for this little guy

There is a great piece in the latest Stafford magazine about a deaf dog and he has been taught obedience and how to work to music with his owner (although he cant hear it of course- but they have a dance routine)

I'm going to pick this wee girl up on Saturday. the owners have now said that the vet hasn't checked the wee soul it's just them that say she's deaf. Could be selective deafness or staffie puppy deafness. We'll see. I'll get photo's for you all

Well here she is.
BONNIE

Unfortunately she is deaf and very stubborn. Poor wee soul has demodectic (sp?) mange. Lovely wee thing she is. I have her in a foster home at the moment. She's to go back to the vet on wed. afternoon.
