Ban, except for sparklers etc for home and organised displays. Why do we allow our children to handle explosives??????

I dont mind if they are on organised displays at sensible times. I hate it when the neighbours are shooting them off at 1am. Firstly you cant sleep and then u have dogs going barmey!

I havent yet encountered fireworks since ive had indie, but she does get really scared of loud bangs outside, she starts doing her protective bark or she hides next to me.

Fireworks should be banned! I have bad ears, so they hurt when they go off anyway! Although organised displays on a set 2 days is ok

I don't mind little fireworks but those huge monsters should be saved for organised diplays away from built up areas. Mind, if people had more sense we wouldn't need legislation!

Norman says he likes the green ones but finds it hard to hold sparklers

I did the same thing Carole a couple of years ago, thankfully though, it didn't scar.

Sparklers are now banned as far as I'm aware. Well, they definatly are for my kids.

I'm lucky, Sultan doesn't bother with the fireworks much. She will bark when she hears a bang and goes from the front door to the back wanting to get out and see what is going on. I personally would like to see them banned, except for pro displays, but even then, someone will live near to the park/ground they are being shot off in won't they??
