You have my sympathy - I grew up in Canada and our dogs regularly got themselves 'skunked'. I recall tomato juice as the best of all options but sometimes you just have to live with it...!!

Oh man, you poor thing! I can't begin to imagine the stench issued by a skunk. I have no suggestions but plenty sympathy (and a certain amount of gratefulness that I live on 'this' side of the pond!).

thankyou for all, for your support!.today is a tiny,tiny bit better.the smell is disipating..as i throw stuff out .2 carpets,one sofa,2 comforters,one dog bed,create,pair off boots,new..my fav pants,t,socks,undies,ball hat,whatch and a dog

that seems a bit drastic? surely time and some specialised cleaning products/deoderisers would save at least the sofas and carpets? was the skunk inside the house?

however, i dont know much about skunks.
