ANAL SAC = BAD BREATH ?

I really need help on this bad breath prob...

I have a beautiful gordon setter female, Kona.
I guess she's naturally smelly dog but her bad breath is very very uncomfortable for anyone who loves to pet her @.@
I changed her food to Nutro Ultra, wishing that would change her breath prob. but didn't change anything at all. All the treats for fresh breath stuff never worked.

I wanted to figure out why... so I was watching her carefully.
I give her bath: She smells good including her breath after bath. After 2 days, she becomes smelly and within a week, she smells horrible including her breath.

She cleans and licks herself every night(very neat dog huh?) but I found out that she was licking her anal sac most of all. Since her anal sac is the smelliest part of her body, after her eating all the stuff from her anal sac, her breath smells like fishy.
I realized that there's something about her anal sac and found this web site

http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_anal_sacs.html

I'm wondering if there's any other solutions for anal sac problem.
The web site mentioned about a surgery but I don't think surgery is a good idea...(I hate surgeries for myself too.. scary..)
Can anyone recommend me a more natural way to fix her anal sac problem?

Hi you dont actually pop them but they can be emptied by squeezing them. Its best to get your vets to show you how and then you could also try adding extra roughage to her diet as this can help them empty naturally when she cleans.HTH

Yes, I tried squeezing them(actually, I don't know how to do it, but my fiance does it when we give her bath). It only lasts 2 dayz....
Should we try to squeez with tissues without bath?(never tried)

By the way, we are going out with Kona to give her bath.
We just heard about a pet store with self-wash. gotta try them today.
Yeah, she'll be fresh clean for at least few days

if you add a bit of born to her diet it might help to empty them naturally try given her a bit of raw chicken wing or lambs neck a few times a week

yeah, we just got back from the self wash place.
Wow~ It was fun and easy. The system runs like the self car wash system
I wish Kona could smell like this all the time

Would Bones really work?
I should try! yes!

p.s. I thought chicken bones bad for doggies because of the sharp edges.

Anyway its now Monday and his breath is abit smelly again, so maybe he needs his glands doing.
