Are they mainly just for barking? I see it says they work for things like sound sensitivity, fearfulness and panic... I wonder if it would help with Jake... when the woman up the stairs has her daughters ESS round, he jumps around and makes a lot of banging noises... same when the woman's son is around, and the bangs really freak Jake out...

Do they also work for things like fireworks? Or would something like a thundershirt be the best...

Could I get two? Going by the sizes in the link in the OP my two should both be medium, are yours the same size? Arrow is 26in and Jake is 27in... If you think medium could I get one in green and one in orange?

Did you measure around their muzzle and then around their neck behind their ears?
Mouth to be closed too.

The sizes are:
Xtra Small: 15" - 21.5"
Small: 18" - 25"
Medium:18.5" - 26"
Large: 28.5" - 42"

So Jake is in between sizes.

Great I hope it helps your boy

Should also mention that the calming band should be gradually introduced to the dog and shouldn't be used as punishment. It is meant to relax the dog.
