i knew a dog that struggled trying to get the bones out and his owner put rope or string in the top so the dog could get the treat more easily! and do watch the dvds we have the cups the dog has to spin to get the treat out, we trained with a clicker and he picked it up so quickly, the only problem came when he would spin the cups the treat would fall out and the other dogs would go in like a flock of vultures!!

I have no idea how to multiple quote Thanks everyone for replying, it's really good to hear how others get on with them. SLB that's nice that Louie is smart, I sometimes have my doubts about Lana but give her the benefit of the doubt, seeing as it might be me who's stupid and doesn't know how to train her.

WhichPets I might try them on the floor, that's a good idea. I've had it a couple of weeks so too long now to return it I would think.

Emma47 and Kerryowner, I'll have a look at the brick one seeing as you both (well your dogs) found it easy. It might be better to start Lana off with something like that.

Moon's Mum, Oops I didn't watch the DVD which came with it, I thought it would just be an advertising DVD, maybe I should play it now. Thanks for all those tips. I suppose it must be worse when they can work them out so quickly as you'll not get your moneys worth out of them.

I'll try Lana with the Casino in the next couple of days. If I give up with it at some point I'll pm you and can send it on to you but I'll try her with it first and see how she does.

I didn't realise there was a difficulty rating, I must have missed that.

I'll start with baby steps. I don't want her to see me getting them out and all she thinks is 'oh no I can't do those'

She would be quite happy for me to flick the bits over so she can get the treats, sits there very nicely in front of the board looking hopefully at me. I'll watch the DVDs and follow the steps and see how she gets on.

Thanks again for all your replies and help

I have one brain of britain who undoes them in under a minute and one who's taken a year- yes a year to master the dog brick! He's special. Anyway they both enjoy the games a lot and it's true the resale value on eBay is very good

Lol amber refuses any bones to be kept on the toy for a second. Even if someone put one on out the way just tidying up as soon as she noticed it would be straight off. Was like OCD!
