Feel dreadful I can't help :(

A dog appeared in my village nearly 48 hours ago wandering round. It's a newly built village with construction still going on.

She's been wandering round continually since first seen, now has bleeding paws limping and whining with every step she takes.

She won't come near anyone so can't be caught. I got her briefly yesterday but she turned round so I let go in case she nipped me.

Dog warden can't get her. RSPCA said they won't come unless they see evidence she is injured - which I can't get because I can't get close enough.

She belongs to someone has a collar on and is in good condition. It will be her second night out ther on her own it's heart breaking!!

Not sure what breed she is, a husky type black with white chest feet and eyes.

I've left her for tonight as she seems to have settled somewhere and don't want to chase her off.
Any ideas for tomorrow???

The vets receptionists may know the dog from a description or a phone picture?

Are bleeding feet not an injury?

Yes but they want evidence! The police woman was saying they don't even ring them anymore as they don't come out

FFS. Have checked Doglost, nothing for that postcode but if her feet are bleeding it could be her family have moved and she has got out and is looking for her home - stranger things have happened, If you get a picture of her in the morning please put it on the Doglost site.
