Oscar (10 and a half month lab) just started cocking his leg last week. He does it when we're out for walks but still only squats in the garden. He is entire but we're going to get him done soon.

Hi, my boy has NEVER cocked his leg I always thought it was because he was castrated when he was quite young around 7 months...I think he's still trying to work out how other dogs can get their pee so high up the trees he always looks bemused!!|

My dog is 2 1/2 now, we got him as a pup when my old boy was here...He still squats now.

I spoke to the vet about it, he said they pick it up from other dogs x
