Have you checked to make sure there is not a bit of bone or stick stuck in her mouth or teeth?

My Boxer had the same problem, She didn't have anything stuck in her mouth, so took her to the vets, she thought she had stung her mouth, or been near frogs, she got an injection and it more or less cleared up at once...

Good luck at the vets I remember my dog having something like this when he was younger - he was all wet round his mouth but it seemed to just clear up on its own.

Hi amandag it come be due to a number of things, from teething to a bite or object stuck in the oesophagus, did she have bones or chews that were eaten up yesterday . I know you must be worried but try not to appear so and use a bright voice so that you don't make your puppy more anxious. I would try to get to the vets asap and would not give any more food or water until you have been to the vets just in case an anaesthetic is required.
