A Short Stay in Switzerland

Has anyone else just been watching this??

Me and mum have been sat here tears streaming down our face.

Julie Walters is a bloody good actress, I'll give her that!

I only saw the last 15 - 20 minutes of it, but I was bawling by the end. It was very, very sad. I sincerely hope anyone against assisted suicide has watched this programme.

I watched it too, it made me cry, I thought it was very well done for such a controversial subject. I think Julie Walters is one of the best actresses we have. She can take on any part be it funny or sad as this one was.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it for a number of personal reasons, but as rips said earlier I hope anyone against assisted suicide took the time to watch it with an open mind.

I sat there bawling too I was choked when she said goodbye to the cat and to her carer.. her bravery and courage were admirable throughout. Im not afraid of death but goodbyes get me everytime. Have to say I loved the xmas cracker jokes scene!! Thought the acting was pretty damn good all through..big JW fan anyway. Im about to watch it again...

That's what did for me when she said goodbye to her cat, you can just imagine it.I thought it was excellent, and thought provoking, and Julie Walters is fab, my OH is reading her autobiography at the moment and said its really good, I'll be reading it next and am looking forward to it.
