Little boy growing up

I have just filled in the form for Greg to transfer to Middle School in September 2007. A weird feeling, happy and sad at the same time.

This is one of those things you kind of think will never happen, seems a long way off - then there it is staring you in the face!

My little boy is not so little anymore, not looking forward to 2 years time when I have to do it for Joseph too.

What is classed as middle school where you are Trish - do you mean Senior school or the start of juniors?

Middle school is 9 to 13 years.

Not many authorities still have the three tier system now, Bedfordshire is one of the few.

They don't stay babies for long

My youngest is 12, it won't be long before she's in her final year

I've now got 2 that have left school and one that's in year 10 at high school. It won't be long before she leaves too

Its daunting isnt it? My oldest boy started middle school this September, still have one in first school, its their new found independance that frightened me the most.
But then you get a bit more yourself so it evens out a bit.
