'Looks Like a Wolf'...............

Just came across this advert. Going back to discussions ref wolf look alikes, which dogs do and do not look like wolves...

SIBERIAN HUSKY FOR SALE

DetailsType: Private Advert
Price: £450 ovno
Updated: 4 days ago

Description
I HAVE A MALE 2 YEAR 6 MONTH OLD
SIBERIAN HUSKY FOR SALE
HAS LOVELY WHITE AND GREY FUR LOOKS LIKE A WOLF
HE IS HOUSE TRAINED, HAS A GOOD TEMPERMENT
GOOD WITH KIDS AND OTHER DOGS
ONLY SELLING DUE TO NOT HAVING THE TIME FOR HIM DUE TO WORKING ALL THE TIME
A few things struck me about this advert, price of the dog, reason for sale, lack of info ref the dog and of course the 'wolf look' description. I haven't seen many Husky adverts describing the dogs as looking like wolves, I have seen terms like 'colour wolf grey', but don't recall the 'wolf look' term. Perhaps with the seeming popularity of the 'wolf look' dogs, this is an avenue people are moving into Or is this not a new thing

PMSL looks about as wolf like as me - just because a dog is grey with pointy ears people think it looks like a wolf!

Yep. He looks just like a Sibe to me, and I'm no expert. A friend had a wolf hybrid, but that was long ago in a galaxy far away, and I have no photo. But here are pictures of Muttley with Larka, a Native American Indian Dog, and I think she looks like wolf. She was a very friendly dog, and Muttley latched onto her like a teenager on a supermodel!

Larka was/is a lovely dog, friendly and well behaved. The owner bought her from a breeder out of state, and apparently it is a rare breed. There is some controversy over whether it is really a breed or a hoax, but here is more information:
