Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree!!

OK, so I know it is only the start of December but I have put my tree up this weekend....

Lets see some pics of everyone's dec's to get us into the festive season!!

Here is our tree, you can't see in the pics but around the bottom we have coloured lights and then white lights to the top, it looks like a pretty rocket about to take off!!!!

Obviously Daisy and Tilly have to keep a close eye on it to make sure all presents that go under it are for them... (unfortunately due to Daisy being a VERY NORTY doglet the presents don't make it under there until Christmas Eve)

That is brilliant. A really nice tree.

It is NOT rubbish! I think that it is gloriously in the spirit of Christmas. I love it

No Christmas tree is rubbish they all show the home they live in adores Christmas.
When I lived in a tiny flat I once had to resort to sawing the top off my parents tree........

I have a small artificial tree which at present is taken to markets, to show the hand made tree decorations I sell..crocheted snowflakes and angels in white, silver and gold.

Later it will maybe be put up.. we shall see, but no lights as they cost too much. I have markets until 21st,

Just now I have the Advent Window; holly and the four candles and the Christlight amid them..ready to light,, and later a Nativity scene will join that. In a different window probably; this is the first Christmas in this house

And on Christmas Eve. in the Irish tradition, a red candle will be lit in the window to guide any lost souls in, to welcome Christ.

For to us THIS is what Christmas is about.. the tree was a late comer, but beautiful.
