Pics of my star gazer Lillies

My lillies had to be rescued from the nasty little red beetle but they still flowered!

Beautiful lillies, how did you get rid of the beetle ? they can totally destroy once they have attacked - noticed a nibble on one of the plants.

Thank you.

I squished the beetle and got the lavae grubs off with a pair of rubber gloves on ran my hands up the leaves then squished them too!
They didn't flower last year so I wasn't going to let the nasty little beetle kill them!

Thanks I will have to re-pot them before next year to make sure there are none lurking in the compost!

Lovely pics, I've got star gazer lillies in my garden in 3 colours. I was wondering if they'd grow this year after they were desimated by those little beetles last year but they've all grown.
Better go check for beetles today!

Beautiful flowers Lilies. . .is there a protection you can buy so that when you re-pot them you can protect them from the little nasties
