What home made things do you bake for your dog?

I keep hearing about people making dog biscuits, not as a main meal but as treats i assume, and i bought some home made ones once from a fair, has anyone got any recipes?

I fry liver then bake in a slow oven to dry it out then chop that up as treats. Irresistable to dogs.
And I used to make rusks for a teething dog - bake brown bread in a slow oven till hard then spread with honey.

errrr - nothing! Not bake anyway

Would rustle up lightly cooked ground beef/chicken/tripe once in a while. Not all at once

Tonight I have left out a Capt Birdseye fish [in white sauce no less] dish to thaw and will cook in microwave - trying to clear the freezer out a bit They will get that with their kibble

I make sardine treats.

Mix two tins sardines in sunflower oil (use the oil) with two eggs. Add some garlic and flour (I use potato flour). Spread into a tin and bake in the oven. Cool and chop up. Can be frozen.

You can do this with blended liver too.

I also make baked chicken or liver - boil, chop into pieces and bake in oven.

I'm quite partial to the sardine treats. I just chuck in enough potato flour to make a doughy mixture, kind of biscuit mixture.

Same I'm afraid!

But the sardine treats posted above sound nice and easy. Might give them a go.
