Gucchi, Staffiex, DOB 07 – Lightwater, Surrey


Homing Requirements: Gucchi is an ideal first time dog or Staffie owner's dog. Gucchi can live with another dog and dog friendly cat. She is excellent around young children. She has good recall and can be left short periods.

Her Story: Gucchi has passed through many hands and came to us via a police officer concerned as her owner admitted he couldn't afford to feed her. She is now neutered, chipped and vax'd. Gucchi is fostered with another dog, a 6 year old child and manages to ignore a pet rabbit in it's hutch.

Advert: Gucchi is small and beautiful. She is very compact and well proportioned. She smiles and lights up to your smile. Her health is improving with good food and she has put weight on and her coat is shining. She can be left but would prefer a family who can offer her companionship. Easy to manage on the lead and will be an off lead dog.

Gucchi is a truly wonderful Staffie x with a longish smooth black brindle coat with bright eyes and a pretty nose! We were told she was 8 years old but our vet says definitely more like 4 years. She is fluent and tolerant. Has lived with a terrier for the last 2 years. Really special.

An update from one of our volunteer walkers:

"Gucci and I had some fun time today. Firstly, we spent some time in the paddock and she let her hair down playing fetch. Gucci didn't seem to understand drop, until a second ball was thrown, and she dutifully released the ball and bounded off after the second one! We then went for a short walk in her new neighbourhood, where we discovered several trees down, which she gracefully hopped over. We did a spot of jogging too, and she tried to raise the pace when we came across a cat!! Cheeky!

Gucci is a darling dog, with a fun labrador feel about her.
