....Can dogs be allergic to cats?

Dogs, like us, can be allergic to anything.

I had a rabbit with hayfever..if that can happen then a dog with a cat allergy sounds perfectly plausible!

I would most certainly say so.

I used to have a dog that was allergic to meat and meat deriratives.

My M-I-L had a horse with hayfever!

One of my dogs is allergic to wheat and got hayfever. I am guessing that it would be possible

I used to know someone who's horse had hayfever too. I know it sounds awful but it did make me giggle at the time...a horse with hayfever...the oddest thing I'd ever heard of.

My rabbit was allergic to my long haired cat..any time she went near him he would get an attack of the sneezes.

They can be allergic to cat fleas. So I don`t see why not.

dogs can be allergic to cats, I think its the cat's hair. I know this as my dog had allergy testing done and the vet asked if I had a cat and that he would test for allergic reactions to cats.
