Help - sick puppy

Our new puppy (Alfie) is approx 12 weeks old. Today he has been off his food, and seems to want to sleep all the time. We have had him for 3 weeks and has been a bundle of energy up to now.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Yes, I'm afraid he needs to see a vet, because young puppies of this age can go really downhill very quickly and they do need to see the vet.

Could be a bug he's picked up, could be some food that was off, could be worms, but you really do need to see a vet imo.

Good luck with the poor little guy. Please phone your vet and speak to him over the phone, he will ask you some questions, and they never mind speaking over the telephone. You don't want to be rushing to the vet in the middle of the night do you I'm sure, so best do something now is my guess. All the best I'm so sorry.

Is everything okay with your pup?

Agree with everyone else, puppies can go downhill quite quickly so getting a vet check is recommended - particularly as puppies rarely go off their food.
