Grumpy rescue

We've had a dog signed over to us, he is supposed to be aggressive and chews everything (he arrived on Monday). He does grumble a bit but in the main a lot of it is fear related and he is a tad confused. However, we noticed he was walking a bit funny (he has the most appalling conformation sway back straight stifle etc) so he went off to the vet yesterday to get his hips checked. X-ray comes back, hips are a bit shallow and not brilliant but not awful either. However, what they did find nestling up his backside is a £1 coin and a penny No wonder the poor dog wasn't a happy bunny.
We haven't seen any change in him since (hee hee)
He's a happier person this morning though and whilst still a bit grumpy (I think a lot is learned behaviour plus all the changes in his life in the last few days) and he walks a lot better now!

Poor wee dog - no wonder he was grumbling! Bet he feels so much better now.

(but I couldn't help a giggle at your change joke).

Are you running a rescue now Becky?

Poor dog! Yes, let`s hope he hoovered them up rather than had them posted up there in much the same way that VCR`s used to get jam sandwiches stuffed in them.
