Stone chewing

Mo will chew stones, even though she knows full well she shouldn't
Anyone know of a way to discourage her?
Here is a photo of her pretending she is asleep and that she has no idea how the stone beside her got there

Does she swallow them? This is the dangerous part. Some dogs have had to have serious surgery to remove stones that have caused a nasty blockage. Not sure how to discourage though - stones are difficult to avoid too

No she hasn't swallowed any so far Vicki, as far as I know.
She is seldom left alone so I am sure we would be able to stop that happening. I worry about her teeth though.

I was going to point out the same dangers as Viki if Mo swallowed them but the chewing stones will utterly ruin Mo's teeth.

A friends Border Collie, Cap, he is a bu**er for chewing stones and he is 10 now and his teeth have been filed down to little stumps, hence he has difficulty eating.

I have no idea how to discourage it, maybe every time you see her with a stone use a 'noise bottle' and swap the stone for a fave chew or something, good luck!
