Yes I am here - and still alive He did the filling and I had the needle which I think he put in my upper lip not my gum but it just made my eye water for a few seconds and the rest of the visit was painless - well until he gave me the £40 bill anyway

When i had my front crown replaced years ago Foxy,i wandered through town on way back to car with my face still numb and met up with a friend.She then took great pleasure in telling me i had a big lump of snot under nose which i couldnt obviously feel .

I hope your gob feels better soon Foxy,but that dont interfere with your fingers!

Well yes your through it and thats it done. I have a lot of fillings waiting with an appointment next week ( I have so far cancelled the others ) I had a tooth out last Dec under a GA as I could not possibly have had a local. I think that dentistry compared to other surgical procedures is well behind the times, after all injections and drills are not that far advanced of 30/40 years ago. I know that certain dentists perform laser treatment but when is someone going to make a breakthrough for complete pain free treatment where you don't gag on the bits of filling left in your mouth for hours after
