Furry Soulmates?

Wondering what everybody's beliefs are on this theory.

Do you believe we have only one furry soulmate, that one special dog/cat/rabbit etc that no other could ever compete with?

I would say yes - but I love all my animals the same.. except for one - Benjie, there is something about him I just can't get around, I'd wish no harm on him but he doesn't seem like a typical dog..

Yes I think so.

I had a cat (now passed) that I just adored and felt a special connection with, unlike the cats I have now.

With my dogs I think it is equal.

I'm not sure, Simba was my baby, he was brilliant just 'my' kinda dog n every way

But . . . . He was taken from me far too early just 2yrs old so I don't know whether it was because of that and all the feelings that go with one dying so young. I forget about the sheer hell I went through with him at the begining and only seem to remember the good / fun times I still miss him now and often think what he'd be like now at 7yrs old. Think I've got the old Rose tinted glasses on

yes I do my soul mate was my cat Binx I was about 12 she was part ragdoll when I found out she got run over I was really devestated. I only had her for a year she was sooo friendly and a rescue kitten too! She would sleep in my bed next to me every night and would keep my grandmas neck warm when she visited. Ive never had a pet that ive really bonded with like her since
