Freaky Friday 10th February 2023

Morning all. Freaky because I play solo scrabble on my pc and this word has popped up: Quale: Definition; A property considered apart from things having the property. One to work out. Try to have a good day folks. If things don't alter they will stop as they are.

Morning brenda and all to follow.
The sun is out and a nice breeze is blowing so making the most of it to get washing as dry as possible on the line.
Echo has just notified me the smudge stick is on its way.
Negativity watch out.

Chris I am so sorry to hear about your Sister being very poorly again. 100 miles is a long way that was the distance between me and my Sister when she had cancer at the end it is so hard.
I have everything crossed they find something to make her feel better and feel up to you maybe being able to visit.
That's a bit cryptic brenda.
Kazz enjoy your day .
I hope you have a good day too Sue.
griff hope you are keeping well.

Good afternoon people.

Been out for a catch up this afternoon with a friend pottered around the reservoir, with her EBT he is 15 now and was poorly last week but back to normal Bullies madness.

My nephew Jack now has a ear infection so staying home, not returning to supported living till Monday seems this lurgy (sounds similar to you and hubby Chris) is back as I say BIL has it again as well, and has his throat spray back in action and Doctors appointment this evening on the phone.

My sister had a CT a while ago and has been told she has a adrenal mass we have 2 adrenal glands, one above each kidney her mass/tumour is on the right side took, took her this morning to the QE hospital her mass is 1.5cm it could well be benign but she has another scan in next two/three weeks to see if it has grown they have a strange way of grading apparently if it reaches 4cm it is classed as cancer (go figure) so the first CT a couple of months ago took a base measurement 1.5cm today she has had a 2.5 hours appointment with a specialist nurse she has had various tests and had 15 lots of blood taken some of which are so specialised they need to be frozen immediately on been removed so the chap apparently ripped up plastic gloves and popped a freezer sort of thing so they froze straight away.

Also given a water sample bottle of 2litres she needs to fill then Sunday night 6pm she takes 2 little tablets and then has a water sample taken after 6am but before 9am Monday morning and another hospital appointment 8am Monday Morning for more bloods and another appointment.

We are trying not to be too worried as the Doctor orginally said the tumour could of been there for years but she will have a CT scanned every 4 months for 2 years if it has not changed size this next CT and stays 1.5cm not sure what happens if it has gro0n another path I suspect.

Chris Hope your sister is improving slightly wonder if what your nephew has noticed it due to having less pressure on her head? i.e. by sitting lying head higher than feet?

Lynn I took advantage of the breeze however a bit dubious as it keeps looking like rain here and as out and about did not risk much. Tomorrow is another day and hopeful drying weather and gardening.

Good afternoon all

Blooming cold today.

Not had today's update yet. My nephew phones after visiting and while that's frustrating for me, I don't want to pester him with calls any earlier as not only has he got a lot on his plate with work and staying at the hospital all afternoon and evening, he is fielding 'phone calls from all her friends and family. I update my kids to take that off him, but bless him, he's run ragged at the moment.

Had an eye check at the hospital this afternoon so if there are any spelling mistakes it means my touch typing is starting to fall apart The eye drops to dilute the pupils take a fair while to wear off

That word is weird Brenda. I had to look it up and if I've got it right is it something to do with perception? For example if the sky is red, but you see it as blue because that's how it should be?? Didn't make any sense to me

I hope it is positive news for your sister Kazz.
I hope you hear Chris soon about your sister.

Washing dried a bit Kazz but nothing spectacular some on the airer and some airing in the airing cupboard.
The weather wasn't so bright today, air a bit damp.
