Very cold out although the sun is shinning. Walked Teazle and been into town with Barry to collect his new glasses. Whilst there booked an appointment for myself for this afternoon so another cold walk to look forward to

By heck it's cold out there. The car registered half a degree. We had snow flurries on our walk. Of course, the sun has come out now we are back. In the breeze, I think it's the coldest we've had this winter. Brrrr

I really should book an opticians appointment because I'm pretty sure that the macular degeneration I have in both eyes has deteriorated. I think it's turned from dry to wet in my right eye as straight lines are now wobbly. I will wait though because I won't go for injections. I'm pretty phobic about injections so having one in my eye is out and there's no other treatment. If it worked I would maybe have to find some way over it, but, from talking to many others, at best it holds the condition, at worst it makes no difference whatsoever. I can't see myself facing that dreaded needle once a month with no difference being made

Chris I as pleased to hear Gary got his jab, I'm with you on the injections in the eye, not sure I would be able to do that.

Lynn, I feel much better, not great but reducing my steroids. Had a message to say the Dr is calling me Monday, I can only assume it's about my blood results
Man eventually showed up to quote....very reasonable and he will be here Friday or Monday
