every time I vist a forum it keeps saying there
is an error, and do I still want to keep running
scripts on the page,can I disable it,I don't use
it,so don't see the need for it?,it's really *******
me off!!,it is'nt just once but a number of times,
so if anyone can help,I would be grateful.

Only reason to keep Explorer I've found is for updates for Windows and Office.

They won't update for me on Firefox.

I use Macs, so this is of no use to me (tho' I can see its helpfulness for those still using PCs ) I've stuck with Firefox, which I find superior to IE.

then all you need to do is use IE for these updates only,
then use firefox or opera etc for the net

or go to the firefox site which explains how you can do these downloads thru them
