Never though of vet bed, but I know what you mean Ian hides my address book so I cant ring them for the first week to see if the pups have settled. I'm terrible I even cried when Roddie went and he went to my best friends and i see him all the time.

gawd I would kill dougie if he did that,,, I have to call them later that evening,, just to see if the pup traveled ok, {well rotts are prone to car sickness } then to check and see if all is ok or if they need any advice, I then call every other day for the first week,,,if they are near by,,,I visit alot,,im a ruddy nightmare,,,puppy stalker,,,you would have to be mental to get a pup from me,,,well just look at nero and boobah,,,nuff said, both bonkers,,,lol,

the other thing I will add to the pack with my next litter,,,is the
6 a day thing,,,
eg,,six new things to see, diff types of flooring, diff coloured skin, walking over bridges, all that sort of stuff, uniforms, hats, traffic, horses, the list is endless,

Never thought of that. I was going to put something about puppy socialisation on there this time as one of my new owners had a few problems when he introduced it to another dog for the first time at 6 months old
I do make them all email me when they get home so I now there safe ..Welshies are dreadful travellers with car sickness as well and I email the next morning to see if they've eaten and slept ok.
Ian says if I have a telephone number i'd be ringing 10 times a day and they;d get no peace, I suspect he could be right

Millie got...
A large ragger toy,
A Frisbee,
A ball,
A whole bag of Royal Canine puppy food (worth about £11+)
6 weeks insurance with Petplan (this was actioned before we left),
A temporary disc for a pets lost company,
A detailed guide to keeping a puppy,
Full instructions on how to look after a puppy written by the breeder.
A 5 generation pedigree .
KC change of ownership forms.
Eye test examination form (for Congenital Cataracts) showing the whole litter to be 'unaffected'
The knowledge that my puppy came from an excellent breeder who keeps in touch and whose lines I can trace back to the 1930s.
Thank heavens for good breeders...

Wow!!!! The puppy buyers must have thought it was Christmas!!!!! I got nothing like that at all!!!! That's fantastic. There are quite a few things in there that I would find invaluable - even having owned dogs for many many years. I was thinking specifically about the dangerous substances etc.,

Kind regards
