My hubby is like that - but as long as the pasta has meat in it he is slowly coming around!

What i make are:
pasta, meatballs and tomatoe sauce

pasta, grilled sausages then cut into chunks mixed with some fryed onion and peppers then put a white sauce mixed in.

Spag bol

Lasagne

Fresh filled pasta from supermaket (if its chicken and bacon he will eat it!)

hope that helps

If you want quick, here's quick:

Packet of fresh noodles from Mr.S or Tesco (chinese noodles, where the salad stuff is, usually). Box of Chinese sweet and sour chicken or suchlike.

throw the noodles in a frying pan or wok for a couple of mins. on high. Meanwhile chuck the sweet and sour chicken in the m/w for 3 mins. Put noodles on plate, throw chicken from carton on top, and voila, all takes 3 mins!!!!

Add a tin of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. Grate some cheese over and stick it under the grill to melt the cheese...there you go. All done

I'm a little to late, but for future reference you might like to try this one.

Put your pasta on to boil as normal.
In a frying pan fry up some chopped bacon or pancetta in a little garlic infused olive oil (or a small crushed clove of garlic in olive oil if you don't have the garlic infused stuff).
Drain the pasta when ready and add to the frying pan (off the heat) and stir till it's coated in the oil.
Serve. (My kids like a little parmesan grated over the top, I like some fresh chopped flat leaved parsley.)

It's a fast food dish if ever there was one!

I cheat and buy Lloyd Grossman pasta sauces. Just heat up and add to cooked pasta - fab!
