Hmmm, interesting? I can understand the idea of trying to create a new breed that has complimentary qualities and are free from hereditary defects.

But what worries me is that there's no mention anywhere of health testing, no breed standard and none of the dogs featured looks remotely alike!

The use of terms like "hybrid vigour" and "attractive colours" also bothers me.

Would be intesesting to find out how much the pups are going for, am guessing it'll be a fair few quid.

I think the two in the first pic look very Bernese around the head, some of the others look more like Collies.
Agree with Rips about the health testing hope it has been done Bernese are susceptible to a lot of diseases (hereditary) cancer being the main one.
Also OH and I were just saying if they have BC in them and the weight and build of the Bernese would they maybe run themselves into the ground not knowing when to stop. Ollie tires very quickly he has short spurts of energey rests then plays again, with the BC in them worried they may not know when they are beat.
You can walk a long way with a Berner but have to realise they do it at their pace not yours and only when the joints are fused 1+ wonder if some people may think because of the BC they can keep up and do more than they are maybe capable of.
