It's the families of the murdered victims my heart goes out to. They're the one's serving the life sentence

What did the dog do Whiz Girl? That is so terrible that it was ordered to be put to sleep. It did what it was supposed to do.

Tessa you bring up good points about someone possibly being innocent.

Our dog Mizzy were not a vicious dog, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time normally she slept downstairs on the sofa, but for some reason that night she made her own way up the stairs into our daughters bedroom, it was she that alerted us to someone being in the house, during the struggle between this guy and my OH when he finally got pinned to the floor, she made straight for his face, the mistake OH made was not calling her off, so the guy had his face savaged which resulted in him being taken to hospital for bite wounds to his face, those were not the only injuries though he sustained in the struggle OH almost killed him with his bare hands. That to this day is his deepest regret, that because he did not call her off she lost her life he has always said if he could turn back the clock he would, it is still something that plays on his mind and he deeply regrets, he has always said he dont regret the time he served, just the stupidity of his actions concerning Mizzy

poor you and your OH Whizgirl, justice in this country STINKS and needs to be sorted out and fast, i believe that the way things are is the reason we have so many youths out there terrorising people, because they know that the law can't do anything bad to them and they will either get away with it or just get put up in a 'hotel' for a few months :smt096
