Have a look in the yellow pages for animal rescue centres and also ask at the vet's if they know of any nearby. Type in the name of where you live and something like "animal shelter" or "animal rescue" into google as well and give those places a ring.

Sound advice, I was also thinking dog walking for folk in your area. The vets might know of people needing this service, or you could advertise in the local paper.

Thanks everyone

Have found a local rescue gonna give them a ring in a bit and see if they could do with a hand Really embarressed about doing it while OH is here, he will probably make more mess thinking that I do nothing all day

Phoned the rescue I found and they were not really a rescue at all they have no kennels, they dont have foster homes and so I asked how they are a rescue? they said they find homes for dogs whilst they are in the homes that do not want them I suppose they dont really rescue dogs at all they just rehome them for the exsisting owners? Confused to say the least

I am at the vets next week for Zuki's teeth check so will ask then, but am just looking in the yellow pages as we speak, thought maybe a dog groomer or something like that might like a free hand
