I think I need to point out that I trust my Malamutes with my kids...they wouldn't harm them (quite simply if I thought they would I wouldn't have one)..
It's more the size and clumsyness of them I would be concerned about them knocking children over etc..

Cruiser loves little children..his face is the perfect face licking height..he particularly loves little ones in buggys cos he can then rest his head on their knees..

I would think GSD & Mals are fairly similar in that respect.. the differences being the off lead thing and you will no doubt get more obedience from a GSD and less prey drive..


My GSD bitch was a cheeky mare!! always had to get the last word in and would skittle your legs when she was excited..
