We still haven't been to Mull, stayed on the Isle of Bute last year but never made it over! MUST go! - ferry is expensive though isn't it I would also love to see Harris and Lewis

One of ours is a ****** with sheep, but he was fine, i think he became desensitised to them! He became more interested in the deer, a harder catch haha! Seriously though, we don't let them off the leads when we're away anyway..we just take their long lines.

Skye is wonderful, as is Islay - but Orkney is even better We have lovely dog-friendly beaches, great views and good food (fish, cheese, beef, lamb). We have a local brewery and two excellent distilleries (Highland Park whisky even featured in "Dalziel and Pascoe"). It's a bit farther to come, but well worth it (see some pics on my website).

It usually costs us about £86 ish for the ferry but is well worth it xxxx Ours would prob also be on long lines if we did go to Skye, I am getting very tempted from your pics, I would like a cottage that is secluded and remote, with a large garden that is enclosed and that takes three dogs.....
