Hello,
I am new here to this extremely large forum!
So just trying to get to know people, so what dogs do you have and who are you?
Shall i start the ball rolling?
I am Chloe
I have 18 dogs mostly working gundogs (including a litter of 8 puppies, one of which we will keep)

I have
1 Patterdale terrier - Bess

11 cockers - Tess, Mavis, Lenny, (now the pups) Pip, Poppy, Freya, Indie, Brody, Charlie, Alfie and Sox

2 black labradors - Sadie and Bonnie

3 Springer spaniels - Chester, Penny, Madge
and
1 english setter - Nelly

Looking forward to hearing from you, pics would be great too!

Err yes. I wasn't before, but I am now!!! He was sent to me as a teacher, I think. Despite my best efforts he still has issues, and it's down to me to sort them out. That's the reason why they say Belgians and Border Collies are not for novice owners.

When is is not being challenged he is the friendliest, most socialised dog you could ever want. The highlight of his day is to walk down to the local shops with me and greet people he knows; adults, children, shopkeepers.

When he has no distractions, he is perfect, so much so that I was told by one trainer she couldn't teach him any more and why didn't I think about competitive obedience.

But soon as someone goes past on a bicycle on the pavement, or a dog passes too close, he's off on one. Can't distract. Got to control and calm somehow. he is hard work but worth it.
