Dani, you say down there, it's up there, Loch Muick is inland from Aberdeen at about the same latitude.
It's about a 16 mile hike so Bruno would be well tired and not giving any trouble by the end of the walk anyway.
Be good to see you if you think its a good idea.

god how embarassing !!!

i did think it sounded scottish !! - but then am sure i read somewhere on the other thread about Cumbria ??? am i going insane - think will blame that one on baby brain !!!

eeek 16 mile hike ?? no way could bring the baby on that one in his sling as he would be too heavy !!

Perhaps might be able to make it after all as we were thinking about heading up north this year in the summer so if we did then we would defo try to come ...

will keep in mind in my diary and see how it fits in.....

off to peruse my map to see where it is and make sure I am not so thick for future reference !!! LOL

It seems I lied about the distance. Received my explorer maps today and it's about 6 - 8 miles at the most.
So maybe that will make it a more attractive walk for folks.
Cheers

Just a bump to remind folk about this walk.
A link to some info
http://www.visitdeeside.org.uk/what_...-loch-muik.htm
and some video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWLHfXQwlxY
The Grid Ref for the car park at the start of this walk is
NO310851
Have no firm idea for a time to meet but will sort that out depending on folks travel time etc.
Will pm my mobi number to folks before we leave here on the 15th so we have a way of being in touch.
See whoever is coming when we get there
