I don't have any experience with either of those. Have been told by owners of both though that both those are considered to be a breed of dog and that most the wolf has been bred out. So if thats the case they're really not the same thing. Both of my animals are F1 98% Loki is 50% arctic, quarter tundra and almost quarter british columbian with a dash of malamute, so there's an awful lot of wolf in them and they both can act it. There's things like Selene can not be indoors, she would eat my house and mark all over. You have to have proper enclosures or they would easily escape. 6 ft fence will not due, you would have to have 8 ft. with lean ins added on or hotwire. Plus dig guards. Loki is shy of strangers, thats another common thing with these types of animals. You can not feed kibble that is purchased from a department store like walmart, something like purina would cause them to slowly starve to death.

Bet they are worth all the trouble though ...

Certainly a very beautiful looking animal, but I am afraid I do not understand the attraction in keeping what to all intents and purposes is a wolf in a pet situation. Sorry.
