He cost DOUBLE what one of my (KC reg, pedigree) Boxers cost.

He was sold as a non-shedding breed. He is definitely not!

I'm mostly convinced he is a Springer X, not Poodle cross....
He almost looks like he's got gwp in there!

He does look very similar to a Labradoodle I know belonging to a lady who helps with an animal shelter.

We also met one like this and both myself and my husband thought that it was an Irish Wolfhound cross Poodle. It was way bigger than any Poo-ador I've seen.

The owner kept saying to me "Oh my dog looks so like yours!" I was thinking "no it doesn't"!!!

My sis in law has got a Miniature Australian Labradoodle pup (Riley). He is 5 months old, from a reputable breeder, both parents had health tests.

He isnt what I would go for (in terms of looks, or price ) but they are very happy with him.

As with any dog, so long as well researched, and the dog comes from health tested stock, and the family is informed that the dog may not be the sheddless variety/look like every other of the same x breeding, then I dont have an issue.

I own two mutts, several people here own deliberate x breeds/mutts. Whilst I agree that morons breeding x's is a terrible idea, I have no problem with x's being done by informed people with healthy/tested dogs, who go to good homes.

There are two labradoodles in the agility group that I attend. You couldnt get two more different looking dogs if you tried!

The Labradoodles I have seen tend to look like Spinoni or GWP mixes

He's the image of a golden doodle that lives around here, apart from the colour of course

When we were on holiday a few weeks ago Hen made friends with a labradoodle, he was huge, I had thought he was a wolfhound cross when I first met the people...a proper sweetheart though

See, all the LD's that I've met look more like Poodles, and they have been much bigger than Dougie. His coat is appalling actually, it's not even the same texture etc all over. Some bits are curly, some are straight, some are coarse and some are fine....

His owner paid over £1,000 for him...
