The human race NEVER cease to amaze me when it comes to cruelty with animals.

Personally I feel its one huge yellow streak down thier back as they are cowards....they can only bully defencless things
I wish the law would do to them what they have done to the poor animal, in whatever country it happens

so glad Star survived

So so sad.

The human race well some of it not all of it needs a dam good kick up the backside. I hope they find the evil so and so that did this and he gets severely punished.

I hope some physcotic dog lover finds the person who did it, preferably someone who wants to spend the rest of their life in prison.

There just seems to be no limits to man's cruelty

Actually... the cruelty doesn`t surprise me. There are unfortunately worse stories.
What struck me was the reaction of local people. Expressions of outrage and disgust, and a vigil in the town square, and so many offers to help, plus anger at the welfare laws. That at least is heartening.

Some times I am truly so ashamed to be a part of 'the human race'.

Hope poor Star recovers enough to know what a loving home is.

Someone must have - oh, I can't even say how sadistic they must be

That first photo is shocking and horrible, thank goodness it is sort of balanced up a bit by the more positive ones afterewards... incredible this little girl is still alive after such an ordeal.

Fantastic to hear that she survived and that somebody found her in time.

I'm going to give my own dogs a big hug now i've read that.

Oh, im so glad she survived! Its a horrific, shameful thing, that that coward did but it is heartwarming to read the reactions of people, both local and far away. I hope whoever is responsible, is found and made to pay for what they have done.
